Tess’ Smokey Rub

Ingredients:
- 2 tbl Smokey paprika
- 1 tbl Sweet paprika
- 2 tsp mixed or italian herbs
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1.5 tblsnps brown sugar
- 1 – 2 teaspoons chilli powder (optional)
How to Make it:
Shake all ingredients in a jar and sprinkle/rub on any meat you desire. This adds great flavor to your meats and you wont need to add a sauce or gravy. Store in an airtight jar.
Recipe Note:
I prefer to add the salt later depending on what meat I am using the rub for. Sometimes I use a sprinkling of soy sauce instead of salt. Alternatively Add 2 teaspoons of salt to the rub mix if you prefer.
